Designing for Additive Manufacturing
This intensive 20-hour course provides participants with a thorough understanding of additive manufacturing (AM) design principles and their practical applications across industries. The training emphasizes hands-on learning with proven methodologies, bridging the gap between traditional manufacturing and the innovation that additive manufacturing enables.
Upon completion, participants will have mastered both “Modify for AM” techniques to optimize existing designs for additive manufacturing, and “Design for AM” methodologies to create innovative designs that leverage AM’s unique capabilities. The training also focuses on identifying cost drivers and opportunities for significant savings through strategic AM implementation.
