Today, UMM is an affordable liberal arts college and a close-knit campus community, with a faculty to student ratio of 1 faculty member for every 11 students. The average class size is 17 students, providing a one-on-one atmosphere of learning. The campus has now expanded to 243 acres, with a series of wilderness walking trails, athletic fields, student dormitories and classrooms. Financial aid includes scholarships, grants and work study. For those seeking affordable, flexible distance learning options, seven degree programs and six certificate programs can be completed fully online.
