The University of New Haven is a private university in West Haven, Connecticut, which borders the larger city of New Haven and Long Island Sound. Between its main campus in West Haven and its graduate school campus in Orange, Connecticut, the university is situated on approximately 122 acres of land. The University of New Haven has nearly 100 undergraduate programs and 50 graduate programs. A number of the university's undergraduate degree programs have been nationally recognized, most notably the nationally accredited engineering programs, forensic science, criminal justice, marine biology, and music and sound recording, as well as music industry.
