Idaho State University is a public research university located in Pocatello, Idaho. Idaho State is a Carnegie-classified doctoral research institution, with 250 certificate and degree programs. Their Career Path Internship (CPI) program gives students an opportunity to gain professional experience while pursuing their degree program. All CPI internships are paid positions that are aligned with the student's major or career goals. In 2016, the CPI program provided professional experience in approximately 1,000 internships both on and off campus. The CPI program has seen exceptional growth in past years with a 2016 budget estimated at $2.3 million.
