Get started with Robotics at Harding University

Harding University is a private liberal arts university with its main campus in Searcy, Arkansas. It is the largest private university in Arkansas. Established in 1924, the institution offers undergraduate, graduate, and pre-professional programs. The university also comprises Harding School of Theology, located in Memphis, Tennessee, which was formerly known as Harding Graduate School of Religion. Harding is one of several institutions of higher learning associated with the Churches of Christ. The Searcy campus comprises 48 buildings located on 350 acres (140 ha) near the center of Searcy. The campus lies roughly between Race Avenue and Beebe-Capps Expressway and includes several other minor thoroughfares, the campus of Harding Academy, Harding Place (a retirement community), and portions of surrounding neighborhoods. In 2020, Harding University ranked #249 overall in the national universities category by U.S. News & World Report. It was also rated at B+ by the American rankings and review company Niche.

Robotics Training Programs from Harding University

Harding University offers courses in information systems, cybersecurity, computer science, software development, and engineering with concentrations in computer, electrical, and mechanical. The faculty and staff at Harding are committed to providing an undergraduate experience in Engineering and computer sciences that emphasizes the Christian World view. They are also committed to providing the skills and knowledge necessary for future professional engineers and physicists. Harding’s overarching goal is to provide an educational experience that develops a Christian World view while training our students to work in highly technical and multidisciplinary fields. Challenges such as clean and sustainable energy, efficient transport (air,sea and land), security (including information security), clean water resources, health care, environmental protection and economic stability represent major concerns worldwide. Engineers and other students from these concentrations from Harding will undoubtedly play major roles in addressing these issues.
