Get started with Robotics at Surry Community College

At Surry Community College, education isn't a one size fits all approach. We strive to provide the knowledge and expertise required to succeed in today's ever changing workforce. With the mindset that a good career starts with the right education, we are changing the perception of what a community college can be. We help students discover their passion and then build pathways that will not only transform them, but the lives around them. The College annually serves 3,200 students seeking certificates, diplomas or degrees in a wide range of curriculum programming. Additionally, it serves 18,000 students in more than 1,500 classes through the Workforce, Technology, and Community Education Division. This area of the College offers a variety of learning opportunities from workforce related training to classes for personal enrichment. In addition to its main campus, the College operates the Center for Public Safety in Mount Airy, the Yadkin Center in Yadkinville, the Pilot Center in Pilot Mountain, and the Elkin Center in Elkin. These strategically located centers offer student access to a variety of educational opportunities including basic skills in reading, math and English, workforce and core curriculum classes, as well as providing support for the respective business and civic communities.
