Sometimes starting off at a large four-year college or university is not the right choice for students. Whether they want to save money, live closer to home, enhance their study and learning skills or just enjoy the perks of attending a smaller institution, the Rowan-Cabarrus transfer programs are an excellent stepping stone to a four-year degree. Rowan-Cabarrus offers transfer programs in four areas: Associate in Arts, Associate in Engineering, Associate in Fine Arts in Visual Arts, and Associate in Science. Students who complete a transfer degree may earn up to 60 semester hours to transfer to a University of North Carolina System institution. Students may also earn credit hours to transfer to private colleges and universities. For a smooth transfer, students should coordinate with their chosen college or university to determine which courses they should complete.
