The Tennessee Colleges of Applied Technology offers a variety of technical courses such as computer information technology, automotive technology, diesel powered equipment technology, air conditioning and refrigeration, industrial/electrical maintenance, and mechatronics. Students receive hands-on training and develop skills such as problem solving, critical thinking, interpersonal skills, leadership skills and many more. Graduates of these courses receive competency-based training through traditional and distance learning instructional delivery systems of the highest quality that will qualify students for employment or advancement jobs. The college also provides high quality training and retraining for employed workers.
