Get started with Robotics at Danville Area Community College

At Danville Area Community College, we take our mission very seriously, and our mission is to serve you. Being recognized with four national teaching excellence awards within six years, the faculty at DACC design rigorous coursework that meets the highest standards. Students who transfer from DACC to a four-year university usually do as well as, if not better than, those who began at that school. Community colleges, DACC in particular, are especially responsive to economic and societal changes. DACC quickly adapts instructional offerings to meet the changing economic needs of the community. The College offers more than 100 career and transfer programs for credit within three academic divisions, Math and Science; Liberal Arts; and Business and Technology. The College has partnerships with four-year universities that bring courses to campus, or offer degree-completion programs online, so students can complete advanced degrees without leaving the community. The Board of Trustees, faculty, staff, and administration work to maintain a low tuition rate so college remains affordable and accessible. For those who need financial assistance, the Financial Aid staff and DACC Foundation work overtime to insure resources are available to students. Courses are offered online, in the evening, and at various locations around the district in an effort to maintain accessibility for the community.
