Get started with Robotics at Virginia Modeling Analysis & Simulation Center

This year the Virginia Modeling, Analysis and Simulation Center (VMASC) at Old Dominion University (ODU) celebrates its twentieth anniversary. VMASC is ODU's modeling and simulation research center, which began in July 1997. VMASC was created at the request of the Department of Defense (DoD), which was establishing a war gaming center in Hampton Roads that needed both work force development and research and development support in modeling and simulation. VMASC supported both efforts by sponsoring graduate students in the newly created graduate programs in modeling and simulation and by performing cutting edge research for DoD.
