Founded in 1907, Cass Technical High School is the largest Detroit Public Schools Community District school currently serving over 2400 students in grades 9 – 12. Cass Tech is a city-wide, college-preparatory, examination-entry school of choice located in the heart of Detroit. Cass Tech is within walking distance of the city’s sports and entertainment venues. We are part of the economic epicenter of the city. We bring a rich, documented history of educational success via a curriculum-based program of study. Our vision is based on the belief that all students can succeed and achieve at local, state, national and international competitive levels.

Over 20 Advanced Placement (AP) Classes Dual Enrollment Performing rts/Dance Industry Certification Programs Cass Technical High School is an International Baccalaureate World School in the City of Detroit with a 97 percent graduation rate, earning over $120 million dollars annually in academic scholarships. Cass received an A rating from the Mackinac Center for Public Policy. Cass Tech bears the distinction of being an MDE Reward School for three consecutive years, Best High Schools Bronze Medalist by the US News & World Report, and five-time recipient of the Best High School by the Ford Neighborhood Awards. Through its dual enrollment program, seniors simultaneously graduate with an associate degree and high school diploma.
