Alternative Design and Fabrication

Alternative Design and Fab was started by Rick Hartman and Jordan Owens in 2007. We have over 60 years of combined experience in manufacturing and machine building covering industries such as but not limited to large capital equipment, automotive, energy, steel mills, and defense. We are usually able to prototype the concept in our lab which allows us to design and build a machine that is both simple in its design and as robust as possible to ensure many years of trouble free use. We use as many standard components as we can and we will provide you with a complete bill of materials that includes all of the manufacturer’s part numbers so that you can pay reasonable prices for replacement wear items.
